Build my MVP
From a scoped idea to a tested release
Take a scoped idea from a paid discovery phase through a tested, deployed release. Typical range: $2,500–$5,000, 40–70 hours over 5–9 weeks at part-time capacity.
What's included
How the build is structured
- 01
Paid discovery
A short, paid scoping step before any build work starts. Output is a written scope, a budget band, and a timeline — for both of us to agree on before committing further.
- 02
Core journey
The single path a first user takes through the product — sign-up to the moment it delivers value — mapped before any screen is built.
- 03
Prioritized features
Everything beyond the core journey is ranked. What ships in this engagement versus what's explicitly deferred is written down, not assumed.
- 04
UI
Functional, clean interface for the scoped screens — not a from-scratch brand identity or a full design system.
- 05
Implementation
The build itself, in the stack that fits the scope — typically React/Next.js, Angular, TypeScript, and a FastAPI or Node backend.
- 06
Integrations
Wiring up the third-party services the product actually needs (auth, payments, email, etc.) as scoped in discovery.
- 07
Staging review
You use the real thing on a staging environment and sign off before it goes anywhere near production.
- 08
Deployment
Shipping to production infrastructure, configured and documented.
- 09
Handover
Docs and a walkthrough of what was built, how it's deployed, and how to extend it — so you're not locked to me afterward.
Scope
Exclusions & scope changes
Set expectations up front so nothing about the engagement is a surprise.
Not included by default
- Custom brand identity or marketing design
- Native mobile apps (iOS/Android)
- Features outside the discovery-scoped core journey
- Long-term infrastructure ownership after handover
If scope changes mid-build
New requirements discovered after discovery are logged, priced, and confirmed before they're built — not silently absorbed into the original estimate or silently dropped.
